The last few rounds me and my normal playing partner have been going "absolutely" no mulligans. It made my good rounds feel like cheap junk, cause I knew in my head that I had like 3 mulli's that probably took off 5-7 shots overall.
So since then my attitude has changed and it helps me maintain my composure better. Today I shot a 100 at a local course, not bad for me since I am doing it the right way now. HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY: 122 yards to the green, number 14 par 3. I use an 8 iron off the ground, hit a nice shot straight, one bounce at the front of the green, a couple little hops, a small curve right, and BAM hole in one!! Me and my friend were very excited, then he kinda rushed his shot and ended up with a 7 (lol) after my one. But brag for me, first hole in one, and only spent $30 in the bar buying drinks for the guys sitting in there. |
