Any idea when this will be available at amazon.com? I would order it from ConJelCo directly (hey, you even support Paypal) but international ordering isn't as flexible as on Amazon: I wouldn't want to take the chance of getting the package lost with the cheapest shipping method from Conjelco

The 21 they mailed me saying the book was shipped. I'm waiting now but it looks like a good option and a very serious website. Best wishes. |

[/ QUOTE ] Looks good, except for this little detail: "This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier." I know there might be a good reason for this, but there just seems to be some edge towards the Big Company on this issue. This was my concern. Sure I would like to order from the dedicated company instead, in principle at least |

That is why I ordered from Amazon. I don't believe passing the risk of loss to the customer is a good policy.

If your package is lost or damaged, you must seek compensation from the carrier (i.e. UPS or the USPS). The seller's liability ended when they dropped the package in the mail. Now that doesn't mean they won't send you another one as a good business practice, but you cannot win a lawsuit seeking damages against them unless the contract was designated as a destination contract in some way. |

Quite right, everything shipped is designated either Freight on Board Shipping, or FOB destination. This designates at what point transfer of ownership occurs. If the package is lost by the shipping company is liable, if you added insurance. It's not bad that they shipped it FOB shipping. It's just where they transfer ownership, and nothing is abnormal.

So basically just the practice is what I'm interested in.. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yes - I found it, Amazon had the exact same condition on their Conditions of Use page. Now it would be nice to know what happens in practice in any webshop that I use At least some shippings can be trackable so it would probably help. |

I'm in the same boat with you Willpower. Looks like we're at the end of the list, a few more days wait won't kill me but I'd love to get my hands on it!
