[/ QUOTE ] Since you want to claim it's a "naff example" - perhaps you might want to check that the passage in Super System that you are referring to is in the No-Limit Holdem section of the book. Yes, you have a much higher chance of scooping 100% of your small pots in No-Limit. You can bet the pot. When you can only bet 1/7th or 1/8th of these pots in limit play, I find it nearly impossible to believe that you have a showdown percentage anywhere NEAR 100%. Of course, Ed Miller's only a 2+2 author, what the hell does he know, right? |
