Default Re: Getting Overweight from playing live poker and internet poker

I have potentially the worse metabolism in human history and was able to lose 30lbs rather quickly to get back into tennis playing shape again so here is what I do...

First thing is the food, most important too. Try to eat 5 times a day, 2 meals, and 3 small snacks, that will keep the metabolism going. I have yogurt and nutri-grain bars laying around for this. Also, chips with salsa is very good for this. Fruits and try to eat seafood at least once a day (i love sushi so that works for me). Also, fastfood is not bad, i tend to get spicy chicken from taco bell (spicy food also keeps the metabolism going, ie sweating). And I also only drink water, have not drank soda for about a month recently, which is a damn long time.

For excerise, I either run or lift everyday of the week, alternating which I do. I have started running everyday with lifting to get my abs back but that is not really necessary. You will never feel better then after running a couple miles, tons of energy later in the day which is perfect for playing poker if you do it early in the day.

Another thing is supplements, I take 2. One is the fat burners from Fuel Tech which you can get at GNC. Another is a multivitamin which helps replace whatever you dont get during the day.

Just use a lot of common sense too, nothing beats that.
