Yes, you would only have stolen $10 and the lotto winnings would indeed be yours to keep. Thats the way our legal system works- You would be charged with stealing $10 and no more.

I'm not so sure of that. If you buy something with stolen money, that something is yours?

That doesn't make sense, and it's hard to believe that would be law.

You would not get to keep the lotto ticket and or winnings. Property bought with stolen money will be seized by the state. The victim would get their 10 bucks back and the state would keep the lotto winnings. Just like if I steal 200 and buy a bike, the bike would get seized. If they get 300 for the bike at auction, I don't get to keep the 100.

If this has been posted then I am just agreeing.

It seems from the random posts that I have read on this thread most don't believe enough action was taken. What was done was appropriate, and done in a way that benfits all the players. If PS confiscated the funds that were not obtained by proven "cheating" then there would be no line drawn. Who is to say that a player can't accuse any of you for "cheating" causing PS to confiscate your cash. Enough was done with enough publicity to deter most from doing it again. If the penalty of total cash confiscation was enforced there would be no added deterent because players would just cash out until doing it again.

Yes, that's where I'm coming from.

Money won while multi-accounting is stolen money. Everything won after the first instance of cheating is won with, at least a portion, stolen money.

I don't know why people think "just the 5k" should be witheld.
