This thing is at $425,000 now. I played last night for a while and everyone was talking about hitting it...it was like a madhouse, everyone playing with terrible hands. Gimmick or not, I think I like what this Bad Beat Jackpot does for the fish. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Play seems a lot softer lately, at what point is it plus EV to hit those tables?

I usually play MTTs on AP due to there rarely being full ring games and now there are 10-12 full 9 handed 1/2 games that make any micro Bodog game look like 100/200 live. The absolute worst play ever, you will get calls by two straight flush cards (6s, 8s)on a one spade flop that are dead to runner runner. It's the same contribution to the BBJ at all levels .50 per raked hand + the normal rake, but I've seen people up 4-5 buyins where that would never happen 3-5 months ago.
