El D,
The no wave one is sooooooooooooo good, it drives me nuts and I too tend to "overwave" to offset the karmic imbalance those people have foisted upon us all. Regarding the driving rants, I submit people who don't get out into the intersection sufficiently to allow a second car to get into the queue so they can legally turn when the light turns red. Most intersections in Phoenix allow for turning on green (no red left turn arrows) and the arrows come before, so when it turns red there's no excuse when two more cars don't clear. Often I'll see idiots - usually women, or driving minivans, or on their cell phones, or any combination of these things - either barely into the intersection or not even in it until the last second, which totally screws the car behind them. It just annoys me that some dumb rude ass just cost me 2-3 minutes of my life sitting there because they don't know how to share the road. |

Ever since then I've been a little paranoid about pulling this maneuver. So I'm sorry if I piss you off. |

doucy,
Either that is a spectacularly dangerous bit of traffic engineering, or you don't understand exactly what I'm talking about. Which could be my fault. I'm out. |

- When the audience in a live TV show thinks a joke is really funny, so instead of just laughing and clapping, they start to do that WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thing. Stephen Colbert or whoever has to sit there for like 8 seconds and it totally ruins the flow of the show and it's a goddamn annoying sound AND MOST OF THE TIME WHEN THIS HAPPENS, THE JOKE ISN'T EVEN THAT FUNNY.
- Any commercial on the radio. |
