[ QUOTE ]
I am at a red light waiting for it to turn green, and there is an elderly man crossing the street. The walk sign is on when he starts crossing, but he has a cane and is slow. The second the light turns green, this guy behind me just lays on his horn. He is yelling out his window, go, you idiot, but it has to be clear that if I do I will run over the man with the cane. Not wanting to injure him, or commit vehicular manslaughter, I wait for him to clear so I can take off. Guy behind me decides to follow me for a few blocks laying on his horn, and flipping me off. Karma happens, a police officer sees this, gets behind him, and pulls him over. So, it would have angered me, but I ended up laughing about it for the next couple of blocks. [/ QUOTE ] Guys like this stink up the planet. |

[/ QUOTE ] These are pretty damn awesome. I'll add, people that swerve wide on left turns. |

Eld - some people don't say 'thank you' when you hold the door open for them either. I assume they might all be anti-wavers.
I don't really get that bothered by either though. I do kind of mind when I hold open the door for an old-lady or something and 7 straight people see it as an opportunity to just sneak right in without having to hold it or open their own door. Sometimes it's clear that they couldn't see that the door wasn't open on its own or something. But other people just go walking right by with their group of 10 or something. Look dude, it's your group, you can take over the door now. You can even kind of do a half-step away like you are really done holding the door now and you would just like to go to your car or step inside yourself and they still won't take over. It's one of those things where I really don't feel comfortable just letting it go and walking away because then it's going to knock some poor kid or old person in the ass. Usually it's when I'm leaving i think. but I've had it happen a couple times where all these people just walked right by and got their name to the hostess ahead of me. I can't be the only one this happens to. |

Attention ho's who stop right after they get off the escalator or right outside the elevator door as it's emptying.
Attention ho's who passive-aggressively spread themselves out as wide as they can on the escalator when you're running to get the train before it leaves, so you have to either miss it or get in some weird altercation with them. |

Blarg,
Good ones. Attention people who talk in doorways or obvious walking ways at restaurants/casinos/nightclubs/whatever. Attention REALLY slow freaking walkers going 3 people wide and taking up the whole aisle-way through the casino while 35 people are backed-up behind them and can't get by at all. I know it's Mississippi and all and some of the aisle-ways for walking are pretty narrow and some of the people are pretty obese or just slow. But it shouldn't be that hard to realize there are people behind you. The one's who are just standing there and talking or doing nothing and are just disrupting walking-traffic are even worse. Get a clue. People can't get by. I also blame the Horseshoe-Tunica for having unnecessarily narrow walkways through much of the casino. |

I could be completely relaxed and copacetic, and still voice recognition automated phone service will almost always send me into a blind rage within 15 seconds.
