is it really that easy to cash in ~50% of the SNGs you play? I would think 20% - 30% is for sure doable, but unless these are super soft, 50% seems a little unreasonable

There are 10 players. The top 4 players get the seats.

So if you are an average player than you should cash in 40% of these which still gives you a better return than $1500 for 150k points (however this is not including all the time you have to spend actually PLAYING in the darn things).

For a good player I would think that 50% is very possible and the tourneys wouldn't even need to be exceptionally soft for such a rate.

the 5400s are very soft. best use of fpps imo. i play them all the time and have ~ 40% cash rate (23 stts sample size)

40% is the cash-rate you should have if you're an average player.
So if the fields are so soft (which I believe they are) then you are not running quite up to expectation (not surprising with such a small sample-size.
