Ivey always seems to get great bets in on props and side action. He even manages to get great odds from scared poker players (hellmuth) on insurance bets. He is a smart man.

Boris,
I live in Hermosa Beach. I wouldn't fly or drive to San Diego just for a 5k bet. I'd do it at a course down here though (not Trump because I'm not paying 800 to play 4 rounds). I'd play from the blues. I used to be a 12-15 in high school. I'm now 21 years old. Last 2 rounds I played I shot a 85 (yesteday) and like a 87 a month ago with StinkyPete. It would need to be at least 96 or below. PM me if you're seriously interested |

I'd even be interested in doing a smaller bet if trust is of issue just to see if I can do this. I bet I could get one of the roommates to bet against me, but they know nothing about golf.

[ QUOTE ]
If Huck Seed can play 5 rounds, why is it so impossible for Lindgren to play 4? I think he is the favorite now. [/ QUOTE ] Because Huck is a physical freak. |

[ QUOTE ]
Since he's playing to break 100, not to get the best score, and if he's a good long iron player, he can just take a 5 iron off the tee on the final 18, and just play for bogeys. Some hole's he might even make a nice chip and get pars. It would take double bogey and worse out of play. Don't know anything about his play, whether he can chip or putt, but maybe he's a bad driver, and the rest of his game is ok. Only drawback is that the course is pretty long. If it was 6800 yards, it'd be a lot easier. [/ QUOTE ] Some forethought/course management could go a long way for him on the final 18 when his physical skills aren't quite up to par... |

erick did it, apparently he was looking rough on hole 3 or so for the final round. He was +12 through 7 but had two big pars on 8 and 9. Then it wasn't close at the end, he needed only a ten on 18 to win and he had a 6 footer for par.

"I had to run to catch up with him on the first hole. I wasn't even ready yet." said his caddy [/ QUOTE ] Caddy? Your earlier post stipulated that he had to carry his own clubs. Did he? |
