If he started @ 6 and was mid-third round @ 2:15, that's 8 1/4 hours for 45 holes, so it should take him 5 hours to do the last 27, meaning he'll finish around 7:15. Sunset in Vegas is @ 8:02 p.m.

I still think he is a dog here, walking that many miles in that heat can't be good. I would think those last 9 holes will be very hard to finish, especially if he needs to shoot around 50. He should get in under time I would think if all accounts are correct, possibly may be some negotiations on a buyout if either side thinks they are losing, but personally if Ivey/Smith make him finish the bet, I still think Lindgren is a dog here. It would be a pretty good feat if he makes it though, it's something I'm sure I couldn't do.

I agree...I woudl guess that the 3rd round would be tougher than the 4th. Hes bound to get a second wind, he can take his time on each shot, and since hes got so much margin-for-error scorewise he should be fine. If he blows it now it will be because of some catastrophe...losing his swing completely, cramp, pulled muscle, etc.

Don't agree on the second wind comment, he's just gonna be dog ass tired for the rest of the day. The extra time to play the 4th round could be the x-factor though. If he's got about 6 hours and can take his time and rest a bit, then he's got a much better shot.
