There really isn't a perfect forum for this, so I'll post it here since we've discussed tells in the context of Caro's book, Joe Navarro's book, etc.
Can you spot the fake smile? |

Agreed, great link.
I got 15/20. Looked back at the 5 I missed, and 2-3 of them I couldn't believe that I missed them. The other two, I could see how it was tough for me to tell. Good practice, and seeing it 'live' really brings the tells to life--I think I'll have a lot more confidence at the tables... edited to add: I think 3 of the 5 I missed were in the first 5, and I think I was just looking at the pictures rather than playing the short clip...that's probably why I missed them |

Phil Hellmuth just took the test. He scored 21 out of 20. He saw through their souls pretty good.

17/20. All the ones I got wrong I said were fake. Guess I'm not trusting them...

15/20.
This was a little bit harder than I thought. I found myself throughout the exersice trying to determine how they were getting people to genuinely smile. I think they were telling them a joke, and then seconds later saying "ok seriously blah blah" to get the smile to go away. So I started looking for signs of laughter such as movement of the head and/or shoulders and I think this helped me. I missed 3 out of the first 4 and then got 14/16 right once I picked up on this. |
