That's a shame. I'm kind of surprised though, BT always came off as an okay guy. Maybe he forgot or something, or maybe he needs the extra $ to fix the tech problems they have over at Cardrunners. Whatever.

Bellagio is making $200+/hr off them, couldn't they take care of the dealers $25/hr?

Is this so wrong to think?

No, that's not unreasonable at all, in fact you could really say the same about any tipped profession. At the end of the day though, they still only pay you $5 an hour.

How long will she keep her job, blogging that the high rollers are stiffs, even though it is common knowledge?

You think they'll tip next time after those comments? Griping about being stiffed to someone who's in your own profession and in private is one thing. Telling the world..that's bad etiquette.

Seriously though dealing poker is like not much higher than mcdonalds on the ladder of the "skilled labor" in the world

DEMANDING TIPS IS RUDE AND ARROGANT.

IF you want more money go get a better f'in job and get educated.

You're dealing poker. You are expendable as far as society is concerned.

mod note: This is a good example of what TT mentioned earlier in the thread is not allowed. -RR

Dude, get off your soap box. We dont need yet more preaching about tipping. That it not the purpose of this thread! Read the posts above by the mods and keep this crap off the forums. This thread is about the blogging of daily activities of poker players in a casino, whether good or bad. It's not about a tipping crusade.

A dealer normally makes maybe $20 in tips in a down in a "normal" game?

Just treat it as a glorified dead spread.
