Ellis lays out for out 1 in the 6th. Lenny 4 walk 0 strikeout Dinardo's luck is running out... now.

Wow, you guys are a pessimistic bunch.

Did anyone really think the Sox wouldn't have a slump somewhere in the season? Did you REALLY think they were going to play consistent .700 ball? They just got finished sweeping the Rangers and taking 2/3 from the Indians. They played their biggest rival pretty evenly and have lost two close games immediately after flying crosscountry. This shouldn't be shocking at all.

thetruth, stick to watching basketball.

It's very reminiscent of many Mets fans last year....we'd lose 2 in a row, the lead would drop to 11 and so many fans would complain about what was wrong with the team and how the sky was falling.

Maybe Red Sox fans are a bit pessimistic by nature? Look, I'm not going to argue with you. Actually, I hope I'm wrong. This is one disagreement that I would be MORE than happy to lose.

The Red Sox have gotten every single break for the last 2 months. Now that things aren't going their way and they're facing some adversity and losing, I'll be curious to see how they respond. Hopefully, you're right that this is just a bump in the road. I'm not so sure...

lol, gotta get some of that standard 2+2 Sporting Events forum elitist attitude in there before the end of your post. Just can't resist, huh? Nice work. You're right, everybody else is wrong. I don't know anything about baseball, I never watch the Red Sox, I don't know what I'm talking about, you're a genius, etc.

When you say things like "I'll bump this thread when the Yankees are two games back", I find it very hard to believe you have any idea what you're talking about.

Three straight runners reach...

Lenny's Line: 6 IP 2 H 0 R 6 BB 0 K

This is the baseball equivalent of a 90/50/3 running 10 BB/100 for a 5 hour session.
