Well, when I played last summer when I only had 1 more semester left of college in the fall, I ended up not getting a job for the first summer in years and I gave my shot at online poker and I can't recall how many 1,000's of hands I played but that was the main reason I was able to become a supernova, so fpps were never a problem for me.

Now that I'm working at an under paid job that has something to do with my degree, I have to learn to spend my fpps alot more wisely. Before it seemed like I was clearing a 100k fpp bonus for $1500 on stars every one or 2 months cuz I grinded so much at low stakes and the VPIP's were huge all the time, creating lots of rake.

As far as the SnG's go, I'm a "decent player", by no means am I "bad" but I do understand the main importance of position, and selective aggressiveness in certain spots in these things. But usually when it comes down to it, since they are turbos... once it's down to 6 players, generally blinds are already so high its a free for all crap shoot :P

$650 reward is only 13 cents per fpp

you're losing about $100 to $150 by not spending the fpps on other things.

How do you figure Derosnec? - I'm assuming the rate per fpp changes as you increase your status level on stars, the $650 is originally meant for Platinum members, but getting to 'nova is definitely a milestone for any Pokerstars player... speaking of which I have about 400 more vpps to clear for my renewed Supernova status this year, and on top of that I really haven't played much at all since Pstars ended their 10 Billion hand promotion..

And I just want to mention that this is the first bonus I've purchased in about 4 months (February), so for that entire time I've generally been running these things every so often to keep my roll alive and healthy on 'stars, and believe me, the quality of play in these things is nothing compared to what you may be imagining in a $500+30 9 man SnG on stars with those guys.. most of these guys are just high stakes players who often just try to use some extra fpps in their account to get a cheap entry into the $215.

What's so bad about Pocket 5's anyways? Why does 2+2 have a seeming grudge with them?

Honestly, I don't wanna be a spoilsport, but listen to Netstormer, the above describtion of sng play sounds ... a wee bit off
