In general, I think they are useless and people put too much emphasis on them. There are exceptions when a trend is actually saying something is truly different. But often, trends are a result of randomness.

1. You have an interesting name - is there a story behind it?

My aunt confused a J for a K on the immigration documents when I came to the U.S. At least that's what I was told.

2. What do you think of betfair? Why do you think a betfair type of site hasn't been set up that targets the US market?

I have not used betfair, I don't think Americans can use it. I have used Tradesports, which I like a lot. I think if there were no gray legal issues, an exchange on sports would do tremendously in the U.S.

3. What's the most satisfying win you've ever had? Why?

Tough to say. The wins never seem to stay long in my memory. One that I recall being happy about was the CAR-NE Super Bowl when NE won by 3 which hit a large point-spread / money line middle. But then again, every guy with any ounce of intelligence and cared about sports betting probably had that middle on for that game.
