Mr. Sicko strikes again: Michael Moore Has a Boner for Cuba

On the heels of Michael Moore's Sicko, Obama offers a plan for Universal Health Care:

Obama will unveil this plan today in Iowa City. It essentially is this - "Under Obama's proposal, everyone would be able to obtain health insurance, and the Illinois senator would create a National Health Insurance Exchange to monitor insurance companies in offering the coverage. In essence, Obama's plan retains the private insurance system but injects additional money into the system to pay for the expanded coverage."

And also this: "In all, Obama said, the typical consumer would save $2,500 a year."



Details are not given. But on the surface this reeks of just another layer of administrative paperwork to supposedly save money and bring in universal health care for all. Pardon me if I remain skeptical of this proposal.
