Default Re: 2 royal flushes in same hand, who wins?

[ QUOTE ]
I'm pretty sure if there are two royal flushes out in stud or 5CD the person with the highest ranking suit wins the hand.

The rankings of suits from highest to lowest are, spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs. It also applies to who opens betting in stud.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong though.

[/ QUOTE ]

You have it confused. When people draw cards for dealer position, the high card gets the button. If players have cards of the same rank, the cards are ranked from lowest to highest as follows: clubs, diamonds, hearts, spades.

This suit ranking typically only applies to getting the button. It does not apply to the actual strength of a poker hand.
