Crash course: The World Bank is an international lending institution among governments to facilitate monetary policies and favored development projects.

The position has nothing to do with online gaming or banking for online gaming. HOWEVER .... it is an opportunity to voice opposition to Mr. Frist.

The key is NOT to do so in the context of online gaming at all. Instead, focus on his inherent weakness for heading such an important international institution .... for example,

1. Integrity issues stemming from the HCA stock investigation, (trading in shares of a family controlled health institution while passing on legislation in the Senate)

2. Religious fanaticism, far Right Evangelical is a poor choice to head an International institution like the World Bank.

3. Much better candidates, like Paul Voelcker, are available.

Perhaps some DC insiders can describe the nomination/confirmation process so that interested persons could know where/when to voice opposition.
