i kinda need a read on the shortie. if he has like 30+VPIP im probably betting and calling a shove. if he has a tighter range id probably c/f.

against an unknown shortie i just basically give up on the flop unless he shows weakness.

Wow, that's a tough spot. You are pretty much creamed by any reasonable 3-bet-calling range, but we're readless so maybe that's to much to assume.

I hate bet/folding because I never believe a shorty when he pushes and would probably call anyways. How about check/fold the flop, and bet the turn if he checks?

I guess we shouldn't be 3-betting shorties light because of this kind of dilemma.
