I'm amazed at how this show is able to make me feel sorry for Paulie, the prick that he is.

Did Tony kill Chrissy because he was going to fail the drug test, or because he was in such bad shape he knew he was going to die anyway and made it quicker? [/ QUOTE ] I think mostly because he realized he was a worthless drug addict that was never gonna be able to kick his habit. He was weak like Tony said and a serious liabilty, as evidenced by killing JT last week. |

two deus ex machinas in one show - disappointing. i feel like tony's need to get rid of christopher and the impossibility of doing so would've made for some great tension through the rest of the series. instead they have him have a symbolic car crash (he cares more about music than the conversation about business), tony happens to be okay, christopher happens to be seriously hurt, so tony can kill him. weak. then the drug experience in vegas seemed contrived - i suppose the fact that tony knows he's away from anyone who knows him makes it somewhat plausible.
an okay episode, tough to follow last week's act - can't really argue with filming in vegas (even if they did use the same shot three times) |

Not to brag or anything, but I was born in St. Clare's Hospital in Denville. (Where Tony was taken.) But that part of the show doesn't make sense. Denville is west of where Tony/Crew lives. If he was coming back from the city, why would he be taken to St. Clare's? You would think that Chase would realize this since most people from NJ follow the show religously.

[ QUOTE ] SCREW YOU DAVID CHASE FOR JUKING ME OUT WITH THE DREAM WAKEUP. [/ QUOTE ] Did you really think he was telling Melfi about all the murders he has committed? [/ QUOTE ] No, I kept thinking the whole Chris dying thing was a dream sequence for some reason, I guess I'm just not ready to let the psycho go. |

[/ QUOTE ] there's no east haledon or west caldwell (or wherever tony lives). there's plenty of poetic license taken with nitty points like this. given where tony and chris were, there's almost no chance they have a drive as long as they did through woods like that. so, instead of saying 'so, chris, while we're driving around discussing this possible asbestos deal, what did you think of it?', chase left that out. |

Yeah, it took me a minute to figure out if Tony still had the bruises on his face when they showed him waking up on the bed. I was ready to be seriously pissed if the entire episode to that point had been a dream. |
