I'll be in dallas for training next week and have planned to arrive early afternoon monday and head up to the winstar (and assuming I don't lose too much I'll be back at least friday night if not other nights during the week :-) ).
I play online up to 3/6 but all of my live experience has been at smaller midwest cardrooms where typically the only limit spread is 3/6 and it's 8 to a flop no-fold-em. Winstar sounds substantially bigger than what I'm used to. I'm assuming 4/8 is their lowest limit level? How does it play (especially on a weekday...)? Do they comp food? Any idea how long would it take to get there from the galleria area north of dallas during evening rush hour? |

[/ QUOTE ] The 4/8 games are great, and there will probably be a minimum of 6 games going every night. It will you a while during the rush hour unfortunately... I think the best way during the rush hour is to take 75 to Sherman and then take 82 west to Gainsville. Then pick up I-35 in Gainsville and drive 5 miles to Winstar. Btw, rage I was the guy on your left a few days ago. |

I really want to start playing some live PLO, but I really can't play 5/10 yet... I am going to be playing the 5/10nl game soon, but my PLO game is pretty bad still. That being said, I'm sure it's better than the average competition in a smaller PLO game at Winstar. Any chance of a 2/5 PLO game running ever, or am I crazy.
