Like they've owned him in his outing against us this year?

The past is the past.

Okay, so you can never cite the Yankees' 26 world series again.

[/ QUOTE ]

If I can't cite that then you can't cite 2004.

[/ QUOTE ]

Deal.

[/ QUOTE ]

I wasn't offering a deal. I was simply pointing out the possible problems.

The Yankees have been consistently awesome for 85+ years. The Sox have one World Series title to show for it. They've blown many postseason opportunities.

[/ QUOTE ]

That looks like a deal offering to me.

overrated? I dunno man, he seems like a pretty good groundball pitcher, I think maybe he is overrated in the regards that really all closers are overrated.

[/ QUOTE ]

Mo is not overrated. Foulke can't hold a candle to Mo, and he never will be able to. The jury is still out on Gagne.

[/ QUOTE ]well yeah there are a few standouts, but for the most part, I think most closers are overrated. I mean, big deal, you pitched one scoreless inning.

[/ QUOTE ]

Let's just look at Mo in Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS. He hadn't been asked to pitch 3 innings in almost 10 years. He came out of the pen and pitched innings 9, 10, and 11, keeping the score tied until the Boone homer. He threw like 50 pitches.

It was amazing.

Kevin Brown has had a better career than Schilling.

What's worse, being bitter/aggressive or defensive?

People on here recommend Schilling for HOF without mentioning Brown. Brown should get in before Schilling. I don't think either will.
