The idea that anyone, let alone a slew of voters, who would normally support Blake now wouldn't because of the politics of that song is quite laughable.

I'm not much of a voter, and I don't really care to argue the merits of my views...but just to give one example, my slightly positive view on Blake went slightly negative last night, and the politics of his song choice do play a part in that.

Or it could be that you're giving them too much credit in assuming that a guy singing "Imagine there's no country...no religion too" isn't going to piss some people off.

Eh, whatever. I don't think it's affecting his votes by any significant amount. If there's any reason he doesn't get a lot of votes this week, it's because of his vocals.

i dont think a lot of people realize ho polarizing that song was/is esp when it came out.... i absolutely think it will play a part in the voting publics eyes...he also butchered the h*** out of it...lol
