Leykis, people are going tip what they are comfortable with whether you approve or not. Then you go into nonsense like this:

To me this is not a personal issue, it’s a moral one. The moral necessity for someone to earn what the keep is something I consider to be among the highest virtues of man.

LOL. Sorry I didn't know... lol. I wasn't taking you that seriously before, but after comments like these... do you know Splawndarts?

To everyone else, some of what was being said got lost in the fireworks a little in this thread (partly my fault for wasting time responding to nonsense, sorry).

Pretty much everyone who posted tips in a fashion that any normal dealer would certainly appreciate. Over-tipping isn't necessary or expected at all, and with big pots whatever you feel comfortable with. Some people don't tip at all on any size pot, so someone throwing a single white cheque is still welcome. They do add up.

That said I'll stiff an obnoxious dealer and I don't like people hustling for tokes either. If it's a $400 pot and you get $1, hey... some people tip differently. You still thank them the same way as you would a $3 toke... that's like Dealer 101.

It's ok, no apology was necessary.
