If you disagree with me, please explain one thing to me.

Why do you believe that the STT forum will follow such a vastly different path than the NL and LHE forums followed?

Why is there any reason to believe that a split won't have the same positive effect?

I refuse to acknowledge Melch's are any one elses arguments from now on until a logical response is given to the post quoted above.

We are the ones who are trying to convince you that STT should follow the same path as the other forums that got split. They only got split when there was an active community who was posting threads every day and asked for a new forum for their threads. Right now, there is no active community of high stakes SNG players doing that in STT. Melch said "why not try to create one and then ask for a split", which would be the path that the LHE and NLHE forums took and you are refusing. We did not split forums into two when one of the new "halfs" was completely inactive in the old forum. It doesn't make sense.

You are saying that twoplustwo should take the "if you build, they will come approach" and hope that if a HSTT forum is added, there will be a blosomming of high stakes SNG threads where now there are very few and that is fine, but it is most certainly not the path that every other forum split took, as you keep asserting. I am also still having trouble understanding the claim that tons of people who post on MTT now will come over to STT if it is split and that they simply refuse to post in the STT forum because it mixes all buyins together. It doesn't make much sense to because the MTT forum itself is not split by buyin and they have no problem making that their "home" now.
