Hmmmm, How about this? Lets sell all of the Schools to Bin Laden! I'll say it again Great plan.

People in America are trying to do this. Just replace the name Bin Laden with Pat Robertson.

This whole thing is being orchestrated and is a brilliant move by the republicans.

I've thought this too.

If the UAE company hasn't already purchased the British company, they will probably withdraw thier offer(because politics made the British company suddenly less desirable).

Bush wins becuase he and by association America as a whole isn't precieved as snubbing its arab allies.

Republicans win becuase they distance themselves from Bush.

You are looking at this logically, but your average American isn't going that deep. Its very easy to exploit this issue as the natural reaction is "Bush is sellin' aire ports to some United A-rab Immigrants fer money fer his oil buddies..." No way Bush wins here, not with the bad run he's been on.

The emails on CNN were amazing. Texans who voted for Bush 4 times calling for his impeachment, etc. This will taint Republicans as a whole, IMO.

Great plan, lets make our country less secure just as long as we can bust up a union. Hmmmm, How about this? Lets sell all of the Schools to Bin Laden! I'll say it again Great plan.

One of the times we were gonna assasinate Bin Laden, we held off because we would have killed half of the UAE's royal family. Lets enrich them.

Vr,

You folks can justify anything, cant you. Here are the battle lines: Its the Bush crime family and the arab royal families vs the american people and the arab people.

[/ QUOTE ]

Who exactly are "you folks"? A lot of Republicans are against this deal, however I am not one of them. If by "you folks" you mean people who look at each individual issue on its merits and makes a decision based on the merits, Im one of "those folks". If you mean people like you, who react to every to move by a politician/party they dont like with a crazed regurgitation of moveon.org talking points and dont seem to be able to think for themselves, I am not one of "those folks".

This reminds me of 1984. Near the end, they announce to the populace that after many years of war, the enemy wasn't Oceania, but that they're actually at war with Eurasia (For anal-retents, I might have the continents wrong). So it looks like Bush just pulled the switcheroo. Next move- Osama appointed Director of Homeland Security.

That argument is pretty bad. The US has supported, no, instituted, regimes across the globe that are arguably as bad as the Taliban (or worse? I'm not sure. The Taliban were pretty damn bad).

Only 3 countries in the World supported the Taliban. The other 2 were Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Looks like 3 countries that support terrorist to me.

Then why did you even bring it up? I was just reading between the lines. Sorry if I misquoted you.
