Little Nicky, by far. I don't know another person in real life that would even care to watch the movie, and its one of my favorites.

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] out of sight [/ QUOTE ] with clooney? wtf? critically acclaimed, directed by soderbergh, has don cheadle and albert brooks. who doesn't like this or dismisses it? [/ QUOTE ] no one ever gives this movie the respect it deserves. [/ QUOTE ] Not sure if I count but I sure do. I rave about this movie. I'm assuming it was Soderbergh's direction and instruction that actually got J-Lo to come off as a pretty respectable actress. Amazing that she's been so awful in a LOT of movies since but I continue to think she actually had some decent acting chops in that one. The chemistry between her and Clooney is outstanding. It would have been REALLY easy for their matching to feel forced, flat and silly. But it feels truly geniuine. The way he intercuts the bedroom scene into their bar conversation back and forth like that is terrific. The soundtrack by David Holmes is outstanding too. One of the most UNDERRATED movies definitely. But absolutely NOT a movie that nobody believes is good. Soderbergh's best film. And it's not even close imo. |

don't know how many people have seen navy seals, but most of my friends just assume it's awful and I will constantly make time to watch it if I see it on tv. [/ QUOTE ] Haha I love this movie! |

Galaxy Quest - this looks like a crap Wild Hogs-like Tim Allen movie, but it's actually pretty solid. It did get very good reviews, but I doubt anyone knows that.

Blade II - Really, REALLY good, and features one of my favorite villains of all time...Jared Nomak
Black Snake Moan - if this is still in theaters where you are, go see this. It looks terrible, but is, in fact, pretty fricking awesome...it's a drama, though...no actual black snakes. |

Also while I'm thinking about it, I even liked The Postman. I think Kevin Costner gets way more [censored] than he deserves. [/ QUOTE ] Uggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....I'd venture to say I'm way more open-minded than most when it comes to movies, especially with regards to sci-fi, but the Postman was pure, utter garbage. Worst of all the cliché-filled movie by Costner, and that's saying a lot. The book is (from what I remember, more than 10 years since I read it) very good, but of course he butchered it completely. And no, he doesn't get more [censored] than he deserves, if anything he gets too little |
