theres a 'bug' if u try to put in a HH where someone raises pre, and everyone folds. theres no final pot or anything

try something like UTG raises 4xbb, and everyone folds.

thx. will have it fixed tomorrow afternoonish .

why am I so bad at donkaments? 608th place... awesome! is this a common problem for cash game players?

what is step one to improve tournament play?

[/ QUOTE ]

i need to find some way to tolerate donkaments, ive went out within the first 5 hands of the last 2 ironman freerolls because i cant stand to play 9 handed short stacked so i try to bully hard and dbl up immediately.

When I play donkaments I just watch something intersting on t.v. or browse 2+2, and just glance at the table when it's my turn. I don't pay attention until bubble time. There's no point. This way you don't try stupid crap.
I no longer mix cash games w/ donkaments. I always run bad at cash when there's a donkement on the screen. Dunno why, just do.

I swear reading the micro forum is making my game worse. I'm still working back into the flow of the game and I've been trying to play up through the micros and read & post there, but there's just so many awful players posting in that forum

The same could be said of SSNL a year or so ago

I think you are missing the point of the forum. There has always been bad advice here. Learning here has never been a passive exercise of reading what good players have to say. It's much more about reading other poeples' opinions and working out for yourself whether you agree/disagree. Even if you end up agreeing with every word someone wrote, you understand what they said at a deeper level [/lecture]

Has anyone noticed the overused reverse psychology/leveling in betting amounts?
i.e.: I'll bet $48 when I have the nuts cuz villian knows it "looks" bigger than $50 and he'll think I'm bluffing
and: I'll bet $50 when I'm bluffing cuz villian knows it "looks" smaller than $48 so he'll think it's a value bet.
lol
