anyone who talks [censored] at low limits is a loser and probably not that good. If his vpip was really that high im guessing he was just running hot (not hard to look like the man when that happens), altho he probably plays fine postflop.

no one is good enough to play 50% of there hands raising 70 % long term and be a winner, he ran hot. Feel free to try it out for a few months though i might be wrong

Haha, well I assumed that his numbers weren't going to stay that high over any longer period of time. Looking back over the hands he played, I saw that he did, in fact, get sick lucky. Unfortunately, he ran everyone over in the process, as nobody ever believed he had anything.

Take solace in the fact that the swings we experience as ~30/20 players can't bear any comparison to what a 40/30 guy must go through.

1-2 & 2-4 & 3-6 about a third of each

man this month I played like 10k hands and more or less taken beatings all day long.

and then about 5 days ago someone at stars must have seen that my luckbox is empty and decide to reload it.

(btw, sorry for BBV spam)

[/ QUOTE ]Tell me about it. I started off yesterday down 75 BB (getting dealt AA 3 times in the first 20 hands and losing all 3 will do that...) before going on a ~250bb tear, + a win in the 3am $10+1 MTT. Ship it $2k day.

Micro-balla I am...

(also sorry for the egregious brag)

the stars games are like that. people are such spewing maniacs in these games I really can't get over it.

congrats on the tourny score. I was like a bunch of out outs away from almost final tabling the million...grrrr. <50 players left over+FD <<< pair. Would have had 3 million chips with like 40 players left. just over 7mil would have been average at final table.

LOL donkaments indeed.

In your experience (stars players) are the FR players the same as the SH ones?

The only FR I ever play at stars is microlimit HORSE, which I suck at, as does the rest of the table usually...I just love shouting "SCOOP" playing O8/Stud8

[/ QUOTE ]I don't think I even played that great (I made one nice read with QQ vs. a limp-reraiser on a 8xx flop for a big pot with 25 left), but basically, I just won a few flips to get a decent stack, and then kept getting pushed into with decent hands that held, and had ~45% of the chips heading to the FT. I am Jamie Gold, essentially. Aside from the fact that his was like 1000x bigger than mine. PigF****r...

so after the AP regulars thread poped up I thought it was time to update this one as well:

NthngBtsRck
who the [censored] is this?
In my extreme huge database that guy is a big time winner.
he plays like 50% vpip, 40% preflop raise. Postflop rather passiv-nitty.
I saw that guy on the 2/4 and 3/6 tables. sometimes he sits down at 4+ 3/6 tables and just buys in for 1k at each
