Fido, some people like to climb back into it right away for the comeback. If I'm itchin' to get my moneys back, I find it way better to just shut it down for an hour or 2, sit outside, (or somewhere far from the computer desk), drink a beer and clear the head. Bike rides work for me too, just anything to change the mindset.
Good luck. |

limit refugee... If I was tilting I understand and will usually take time to cool down... Its that for once I didn't tilt and made big folds... but couldn't get anything going... and biggest loss 1 buyin was at the end as a very slight fav 51/49 lol... other than that only 3 losses between $10-$20 yet I still dropped 6 buyins that fast?? thats the part that troubles me this time...
u're right though need something to change mindset.. heading out for awhile with gf.. will be back later hopefully with some change in cards! |

I'm with you on not tilting, I've had similar nights. Everybody has or will. Going out and putting it behind you is perfect, though.
I just know for me, it is never big tilting, it's an expectation of negativity that can throw my game off by even just a little. On a night when the cards are fighting me, that little bit matters alot. I always think about the scene in the Hustler where Bert explains to Eddie how Fats really beat him...by going into the bathroom, washing his face, cleaning his fingernails, shaving, and mostly just making his mind a blank...fresh and ready to roll. Works for me. Except I'm not a big fingernail cleaner, so I have to find something else. |
