The Hobbit [/ QUOTE ] There is an animated version of The Hobbit, though I assume you mean something done up like LOTR. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Wing Commander III was kind of a game that was a movie. And a dang good one at that. [/ QUOTE ] HAHA Mark Hamill was an actor in that if I remember correctly. [/ QUOTE ] Yup. The cast was pretty good. Malcolm McDowell and John Rhys-Davies and pornstar Ginger Lynn all in it. The game ruled. [/ QUOTE ] The game was great. So was 4. However the actual movie was pretty terrible. |

The Hobbit Watchmen The Dark Knight Returns Apocalypse War (Judge Dredd) [/ QUOTE ] Watchmen should never become a movie. Maybe Tv series, but not movie. Many directors/writers have tried and failed. PLus Alan Moore's work has been raped enough already onscreen, although the buzz around Vendetta is quite good. Dark Knight is iffy. The tone of the writing just wouldn't translate. IMHO onscreen dialogue would sound horribly campy like Hellboy did. What they need to do is throw tons of money at Wolverine: Agent of SHIELD. Complete guilty pleasure. Wolverine rides a giant reprogrammed Senteinel and crashes into a the hidden city of the Hand to take on like 2000 undead ninjas. Hot. |

Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson.
one of the most engaging sci fi works I've read. Also Neuromancer or just about anything by William Gibson, as long as Hollywood doesn't butcher it like they did Johnny Mnemonic Shauna |

StarCraft would make an excellent movie IF they got decent actors and focused on story as well as special effects.
It could be terrible if done wrong. |
