I don't get why Ivey's fold is such a big deal here.

Let's assume he reads Williams for an overpair, which would be correct here. When Williams bets the pot-plus, Ivey only has odds to call if he feels Williams will pay the flush. If he knows he won't, why would he make the call?

I like Gabe too. Seems like a lot of people here disagree with his opinions about a hand and that's fine but his commentary is better than any other poker show host imo.

I'm trying to figure out if that whole rant at the beginning and end was real or not. I assume it's manufactured or else it wouldn't be on TV but then again maybe Gabe is catching heat from the producers.

It's worth discussing because Ivey called a raise preflop with K3s. Though, I think the raise was to just $2,000.

Why play K3s for a raise if you're so quick to put the pre-flop raiser on a big pair and fold a flush draw/overcard on the flop?

Because ivey understands pot odds, and isn't a "i must chase every draw" fish?

If he didn't want to chase a draw, what's he playing K3s for?

I agree with the fold. But, I also would have folded pre-flop.
