If you keep betting your monsters like a p*ssy people will call you with gutshots because they're getting tremendous implied odds to take ALL your money. Bet more on every street. The turn check is fine to induce a bet.

On the river, after he raises, I'd push since he's so short stacked to begin with.

Good point. I've got to watch myself as I tend to over-exaggerate my reads. I used to do it and see great hands where there was jank, and I definitely don't want to swing into the opposite end, because that would cost an awful lot of cash.
