How about the fact that his tournament results are better than you could ever dream for, or 95% of the people on this forum for that matter. But no, lets all jump on the I-HATE-MATUSOW-FLAME-BOAT. Sigh.

Antipeon, here you are again already posting up another retarted comment. You can say exactly what you had to say without talking [censored] and causing a scene, you truely are a [censored] moron. I was talking to you nicely in the other thread but you sir are a [censored] moron and will get nowhere on this forum.

Mike don't do drugs...he blew up several times online if I remember correctly when anyone even suggested it. Anywhoos...I think he'd be great as a commentator, even if he sucks at playing.

I forgot about this thread, sorry.

Incidentally do you know who this petty Poo-bah is bagging on us (see "Matusaw")?

Mike did this series of videos with him, Todd Brunson and Dave Sklansky. They were in a sound proof booth watching a table of amatures play, hole cams and everything. Mike naturally fell into the role of commentator, narrating the action and predicting who was going to raise, who was going to fold, etc. Naturally, since this was a table full of donks & amatures, nobody did what Mike thought they would do.

Dave would then berate Mike for recommending a particular play when clearly (so far as Dave Sklansky was concerned) a differant play was correct.

And then, it would START. "That's not right." "Of course it is." "No one would play it that way." "Well, the math says..." "No one at THAT table is thinking about the math!!!"

I kept waiting for John Belushi to run in from off camera and yell "FOOD FIGHT!!!!!"

All the while, Todd Brunson just sat there. Didn't speak, didn't move, didn't even flinch.

So I totally agree. So long as they keep Dave Sklansky out of the room, Mike makes an excelent poker commentator. WAY better than Gabe Kaplan.
