Why hasn't Grimm posted anything since the initial post? I kind of feel like he isn't putting any effort into getting this money back, he just wants to bitch about it. If you can afford it, I'd hire a P.I. with lots of experience/background and do it as soon as possible. If you can afford to have $130k stolen you can probably afford to front the guy a few bucks and promise him a nice cut when returned. Like someone else said, you have to be sure he doesn't steal the money himself but this way you will have a lot less legal issues to deal with (unless he kills the guy or something like that). You could get the cops involved but this might cause legal trouble for yourself (especially if it goes to the feds; local cops might decide to keep it as well since you are underage).

Yea Grim, what are you gonna do about it?

I'm down for $5 if you lay me 5:1 for it not being true.

me too - El D, unless he made up a name for Rick, it seems like a joke in horrible taste - I know Grim's a d-bag, but stooping to this seems below him.

the thing that always baffles me with stuff like this is that people think that whether it's true or not actually matters.

I went through pretty significant effort to try to get some info for Grim, so I'll be a little pissed if it isn't true.

This statement baffles me. Call me crazy, but I think the veracity of the original story is relevant.

shaniac - why? do you hang out with these guys? does it have an effect on your life? if it does - if you will someday have to trust rick305 around your money, or worry that grim will put nair in your shampoo bottle, then my statement would be wrong for you - apologies.

my main point was that those who spend their time worrying about being "leveled" or those getting emotional and telling the guy he's a liar or an idiot are the real morons. if there's any chance it's true, then you offer the guy the best advice you can and move on.

don't be mistaken, i love the drama, but this is the fing internet and, sadly(?), it's really just entertainment.
