Ask mom if she wants you on the trip, assuming that you are not paying your own way. Moms don't disown their children for gambling (perhaps for crimes against humanity). They may try to make your life a living hell and throw down the guilt card, but you will not be disowned for this transgression. I pay for everything myself. Scholarships and loans for later in life. My goal is to use poker earnings to start paying off loans. So basically thats not an issue, only issue is not wanting to hurt a relationship like this...haha now that sounds entirely emo, wtf is wrong with me...
