[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] And would this trade really happen right after Byron Leftwich was named the starter? [/ QUOTE ] If you want to trade someone do you tell everyone he's a scrub with no value? [/ QUOTE ] No but he seems to be in the Jaguars' plans. 95% chance this trade doesn't happen. [/ QUOTE ] It's been talked about all offseason and Del Rio said yesterday that it was most likely not going to happen. Just like last year when the Jaguars were supposed to sign TO, it's empty rumors. |

Seems like there's usually a lot more news out of the combine than there is this year; both trade rumors and talk about the draft prospects.

News on OL bench presses:
Joe Thomas - 28 reps Levi Brown - 31 reps Manuel Ramirez - 40 reps Justin Blalock - 40 reps I can't see the trade happening. It's all BS talk. Moss's contract is too fat to move and he is past his prime. Plus, Jacksonville already has two young receivers to throw to. Why get an overpaid, past-his-prime WR? |

40 reps at 225 is freakin' strong. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, but also take into account the distance they have to push the weights upwards. Joe Thomas and Levi Brown are possibly as stronger, if not stronger than Ramirez and Blalock. Only reason they got lower numbers is because of their ridiculously long arms. Due to their long arms, they have to push the weights to a higher altitude to complete a full bench press. |

Our sources at the combine tell us that, although LSU quarterback JaMarcus Russell might still be headed for a top-five spot in the draft, he was looking a little JaMeaty at his official weigh-in on Friday. "He looked more like Charles Barkley than a football player," said the source of Russell, who tipped the scales at 265 pounds. He had "a lot of loose tissue in the midsection" and looked like he hasn't seen a weight room in months, with "very little muscle definition for such a big guy." [/ QUOTE ] |

I think the only real deep threat on that team is matt jones. All the other recievers just look like deep threats because of their size but wilford and williams are more suited to be short-intermediate recievers.
