Obviously the hype is a huge factor for everyones dissapointment. Anytime Lost is going to reveal the three biggest secrets I think most of us are setting the bar high.

Also another vote for this episode sucking and being totally useless. What was the point of Jack's flashback? Seriously. I have no [censored] clue.

easily worst episode of season..for once a Jack backstory was incredibly boring.

Bai Ling was smoking hot.

Kate/Sawyer fighting...dull

the gay tribunil council dull

the whole ben/juliette mind games...lame


Cure for LOST===get away from the Others..they are borrrrring.

Focus on Jack, Desmond, Charlie, Sayid, Jin, Sawyer, etc and the island/destiny/fate etc

Yea the flashback was lame. I expected Bai Ling or whatever her name is to show up at the last second to "mark" Juliette. Since she didn't, and the tatoo is essentially meaningless, the flashback was pointless.

jacks lack of asking good questions is soooo maddening, and while he had 100% of the leverage why the [censored] didnt he negotiate his own freedom along with juliet's life.

Very rarely do I watch the previews, just not my thing. And, very rarely will I come on here and say an episode sucked. As a matter of fact, this is my first. That episode sucked.

I find that the best way to watch any TV show is to just completely avoid watching previews for the next episode. That way you watch every episode with no clue of what's going to happen. I'm fairly sure that's how the writers intend on each episode being watched. Executive monkeys create the preview teasers and hype it way too high.

This episode wasn't great, but it certainly wasn't the worst episode ever.

you know, ban me from lost threads if you want, but no one could watch this turd of an episode tonight and not honestly say that this wasn't a complete waste of time for anyone involved. I am really having a flashback to 1998 and the ~6th season of the xfiles where I suddenly realized no one involved in the show has any sort of clue or vision as to where its going and they just trying to fill air time until the network or the "talent" gets fed up and says so long.

The problem with this episode is Alex and her boyfriend suck. I don't give a f that they named constellations together.

Jack's flashback seemed odd and didn't really seem to have much significance to what's currently going on on the island. I'm hoping they have some long term plan behind it all because him forcing the chic to give him a tattoo and then getting beat up really didn't make much sense.
