This is pure speculation, but I think the powers that be (whoever they are) have figured out that the show was misconceived. Or rather, it was not conceived. I think the format of commentary as poker lessons was improvised by the announcers, not designed by the producers. In any case, the subscriptions are not enough to make the nut. So they are experimenting, trying to come up with some idea, any idea, that will salvage the investment. Keeping the existing customers is not a priority.

If that's wrong, may the powers that be please correct me.
