Default Re: Table Talk

This week, there seems to be excessive table talk. It seems that every hand, players not in the hand are putting the players in the hand on hands, goading the players as they think, and influencing the action way too much. No one at the table has objected yet, but isn't it still poor sportsmanship? Is Phil Hellmuth the only top player that would object to this much table talk?

Remember, this isn't a regular poker tournament; its a made-for-TV entertainment vehicle. Therefore, table banter is to be expected and encouraged. I for one found it hilarious when Ted Forrest kept going back and forth between Jesus and Sammy on the JJ vs. AKs hand, encouraging each player not to let the other guy bully him off the pot.

I agree... they've done a good job creating a home game atmosphere by having stakes that no one present is overly concerned with. At the same time they try hard b/c they dont want to look like idiots on TV so the poker is still good. This looks to be a good week of PAD.

The only player at the table that seems outclassed is Clonie. It is nothing against her, but I just think that she plays really weak tight and consistently seems really intimidated by her opponents. Isn't she ever going to get used to playing with these people? She has been on multiple televised events, you would think she would be a little more relaxed by now.

Btw, she is probably way better than I am, I mean its not like I am talking about Victor Ramdin here....
