Not always true in FR. There it is often a good play to actually open limp due to the relatively small size of the blinds compared to the stack sizes and because you aren't in the blinds as often as in 6max. Against players who will pay big bets even in unraised pots, it is often better not to steal the blinds but trying to hit a set for little money and then getting value on all three further streets. For further explanation, refer to concept #55 in NLHTP.

hmm that seems rather interesting to me. i wonder why the same principle doesnt really apply to 6 max (or does it???) if it doesnt apply to 6max that is just another reason why FR is tha ghey
