I'm a nit, that board is ugly and two players are in with one behind, so I'd call the flop bet. With the Qs hitting on the turn, I'd shut down.

It's standard for me if you think that nearly allways somebody will bet after you, otherwise I lead the flop and go for a 3betAI. You are not drawing dead against anything except a higher set. The raising range of the original pfrer is huge so KK/TT are small part of his range, other player should have 3bet him with KK. Some might have limp/call or cold call with TT. In this case nothing to do except get staked.
If Mp1 is able to fold you can 3bet him pf (to something like $22). You should have a lot of FE, in particular if you don't 3bet often preflop. This 3bet is not standard by anyway. |

You played it fine, although on this board I lead out with a pot-sized bet on the flop. The important thing is that you get your money in the middle on the flop where you most likely have the best hand. On this board there are so many scare cards that can come on the turn and river that your decisions will only get more difficult, and you are in bad position for the entirety of the hand. You hit your set, get your money in.

For a little insight;
I checked because of the agressiveness of the players behind me...I don't know if that makes it a better play or not, though. |

I like leading the flop in spite of the agression behind. As played, the CR AI is good. Get it in there while you are likely ahead.
