Does anyone else have to suspend their belief system that Jack's dad would kill his own son and grandson just to save his company? This seems to fly in the face of human nature. I still like 24 and enjoy the show very much but I think the writers are getting lazy.

if it's too save his company, then his company = an organization which can nearly control America, so yeah.

is anyone reminded of the patriots in metal gear solid 2? hmmm...

Just watched the episodes. Really entertaining obvious plot holes and obvious where they are going, but still awesome.

Note to self: If I'm ever getting held hostage they are going to kill me anyways so co-operating won't really help.

Technologic,
That MGS2 reference just tilted me so hard that game had the stupidest plot ever, mainly because it made MGS useless.

I never watch the previews either. Well, actually, I was watching the previews earlier this season, but it spoiled too much, so I stopped watching.

I got into the 24 habit by seeing the first 4 seasons on DVD, so I never watched previews before I started watching it live.

Now, I don't even watch it live. I DVR it and start watching at 9:20 so I don't have to wade through commercials. As soon as the final clock countdown happens, I hit the stop button. Very easy to not watch the previews.

WRT Morris, why the [censored] did he cave? He was withstanding baseball bats and drills, then he cooperates just because he saw them kill that woman? Surely, he knows that he's going to get killed as soon as he programs the trigger anyway, so don't do it.

All those who say that Graem's wife should have told Jack, reminds me of season 1. Remember how Jack basically caved in to all the terrorists demands in the first 10 hours or so? Watching season 1 after seeing the later seasons makes you realize how much Jack has changed from the season 1 everyman to the superhero he is now.

Dudes, Morris was willing to take a bullet. He just wasn't willing to take a Ryobi. Or stall for 3 minutes.
