Most so called "suck outs" and "bad beats" are simply engineered by bad preflop decisions and poor assesment of the situation and reversed implied odds. |

This was a value raise........when you're playing 70/10 type players I'm looking to hit top pair decent kicker. And oh, if you didn't notice I got a $92 pot when I was totally dominating. There's no way I'd do that hand over or "take a mulligan."
More running goot.... Seat 1: CO ($32.05) Seat 2: Button ($12.75) Seat 3: Small blind ($9.25) Seat 4: Big blind ($23.55) Seat 5: UTG (Hero) ($49.10) Seat 6: LP ($46.95) Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero raises ($1), <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, Small blind calls ($0.90), Big blind folds Flop: ($2.15) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> Small blind checks, Hero bets ($1.75), Small blind raises ($3.50), Hero raises ($12.50), Small blind all-in ($4.75) Turn: ($19.9) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(0 players)</font> River: ($19.9) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(0 players)</font> Final Pot: $17.85 Results below: Small blind has Jc 9c (Straight, eight to queen) UTG has Ac Ah (One pair, aces) Outcome: Small blind wins $17.85 |

[/ QUOTE ] Meh, that's a small mistake really at best and there's dead $ from limpers. If he had called a raise with KJ from the Sb, then that's something to talk about. |
