Like cancer?

If a person is diagnosed with cancer; they'll be directed to chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy, amputation, etc.

If a person is diagnosed with alcoholism, they'll be directed to some sort of meeting.

So, alcoholism is not like cancer at all.
