How has no one mentioned any rappers yet? Big L R.I.P. (especially sad since the murderers were after L's older brother, not him) [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]


Farley and D. Thomas were also brutal.

i was pretty young, but i remeber being upset when reggie lewis died. i think i was 11, and may actually have cried.

I was a big Hill Street Blues fan when I was a kid, and I recognized Dominique Dunne from Poltergeist when she was on the show. I saw the dedication afterwards, and was kinda bummed because she was obviously quite young, though I didn't know the circumstances surrounding her death (it was before the internet was invented [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] ).

Once I found out what had happened, I was definitely saddened.

OK, I guess make me the 20th vote for Phil Hartman, because he's the only one I remember being genuinely upset when I heard the news. I've felt a little bummed about others or whatever, but this one actually affected me.

No one has mentioned rappers yet cause the title of the post was "genuinely" sad...

Can you really say that tupac getting lit-up in the same fashion that he glamourized in his music was "sad"...
