Kurt Cobain, sure - I was 16 and they were the backdrop to my growing up. Also John Peel en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Peel
Recently, very upset by the death of investigative journalist Anna Politskaya http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Politkovskaya Kind of sad about the death of Ronnie Barker http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronnie_Barker but of course when someone dies of old age at the end of a full life having met their potential, it's not as sad as someone cut down in their prime or unfulfilled. |

I still remember how sad my dad was the day Bob Marley died.
For me, I don;t really remember the day John Lennon was killed, but it still bothers me today. |

Davey Allison Alan Kulwicki John Belushi Somehow, I'm never really sad, per se, when a celebrity who has lived a long, full life has died. Guys like Reagan, and Altman...their times were just up. |
