IIRC she went as far as to say that they shouldn't believe anything he says, so there could definitely be some sort of history there.

But even for a crazy woman like her - it wouldn't be that tough to make a call that he is an Other. Especially given the way he was dressed and that she had been supposedly spying on them for the past 16 years. And given her obsession with her daughter - I'd think that she would be jumping at the chance to find out any information on Alex's whereabouts.

I guess it's possible - just doesn't seem plausible to me.

I think a lot of the mystery has kind of been deflated now thats its become more clear that its just some gay cult like corporation causing everything

which is bizarre, right? I mean 16 years and she never saw anyone? but everyone got sick? I mean the others must know about her, but who knows they dont seem to know everything.
