I think the Stratosphere works this way too (it did about a year ago anyway, before they tucked the cardroom away so that it gets almost no passing traffic). Like at the IP, the card reader on any machine will tell you a comp balance separate to your slot points and you can swipe comp dollars off the card at any casino restaurant. Sadly not at McDonalds, or the pretzel place upstairs, though.
